EVMC6678L PCIe initialization with IPC problem

Hello,

We are using two 6678 DSP DSP1(RC and DSP2(EP), I succeed the MSI interrupt "EP sends MSI0...MSI7 to Core0...core7 in RC", but when I used IPC I have the problem with IPC, when I initialized the PCIE I cannot used the IPC, but when I used IPC without PCIe or just before initialization PCIe the IPC it works very well,

so how I can used the IPC with PCIe in the same project?

Hi Zakaria,

I think you are using latest version of MCSDK package for this testing. Some issue in latest version of MCSDK package (mcsdk_2_01_02_06) IPC section (IPC1.24.03.32). TI will fix the IPC issue in next MCSDK release.

If you using latest MCSDK package means, Please try the same test in previous MCSDK package (mcsdk_2_01_00_03) or install IPC 1.24.02.27 version package in mcsdk_2_01_02_6 and change the IPC version on PCIe IPC example(with IPC 1.24.02.27 instead of IPC1.24.03.32).

I want to test also with the "mcsdk_2_01_00_03" , but i must used IPC1.24.03.32 or 1.24.02.27 ??

can you give me the link to download the mcsdk_2_01_00_03 please.

Hi Zakaria,

Any one test should be enough for validate the IPC. If you want to test the setup with the "mcsdk_2_01_00_03" package, refer the below link to download the mcsdk package.

I have not worked on similar setup. I will try to reproduce the issue and get back to you.

Hello,

Now I solved the problem, and I can configured both IPC and PCIE, with MCSDK package (mcsdk_2_01_02_06) and IPC section (IPC1.24.03.32).

the problem starts from the function pcieSerdesCfg() and

So I commented this line of code "//CSL_BootCfgLockKicker();" and also the function "Pcie_setMode(PcieModeGbl)"

The PCIe communication runs always and IPC works fine now.

Hi Zakaria,

I have the same problem and couldnt made pcie and ipc work together.

If you comment out this lines of code. Is pcie worked properly .
