Can DM8168 receive 2*channel 720P30 via a sub VIP port?such as VIP0A.

We wanna use FPGA to mux 2 chaanel 720P30 video,and then fed into DM8168's VIP SUB port,such as VIP0A.

But I had not find any corresponding capture driver code in DVRRDK 4.0.

Could anyone give me a hint?

    Hi,

     

    How many channels do you really want to capture? If it is just two, why do want to mux them? You could capture them even without multiplexing them.

    You could connect one channel to VIP0A and other to VIP0B over 8bit interface. Or you could connect one channel to VIP0 and other to VIP1 over 16 bit interface.

    As such it is possible to multiplex them and to capture them using vip ports. Please go through the TVP5158 datasheet to get the idea about multiplexing multiple channels.
