Unable to run facedetect demo on LCDK C6748

I follow the setps given in the quick start :

I have a anlog camera an a display monitor

How to setup a C6748 Development Kit (LCDK)

But in the step number 8 I have no things. The demo doesn't run.

Are you trying to boot/running demos from CCS or NAND flash ?

If NAND flash, Have you written the AIS converted face detect demos (from c6x demos folder) on NAND flash?

Please check your NAND boot settings.

If CCS, Please modify the boot settings to emulation mode and try.

I didn't use the CCS.

Can you detail how to do this. I disin't no thing i 'm just follow the steps given withount any others changes.Yhank you

Could you please try to run pre-built binary for face detect,

Yes I run the pre build i follow the step to run it with code composer studio in the link that w gived me

I open CCSV5

File => import Existing CCS/CCE Eclipse Projects and import project from <BIOS-C6SDK INSTALL DIR>c6sdk_02_00_00_00\demos\facedetect\build\cgt_ccs\evmC6748

right click buld project i don't do anything else normaly we shouldn't have any errors

Please don't change anything in source code until code built successfully.

I hope you got a binary even you got semantic error.

Please confirm.

Try to rebuild (cleaning and building)

I downoload CCSV6 and i have no error but i have a problem to make connexion with the JTAG

Could you explain me how to set the dip switches please. I don't understand this sentences :

• Turn DIP switches 7 and 8 of S7 (the one which is closer to the power switch) to ON position while 1-6 remain in the OFF position. Ensure switches 1-8 of S2 (the other DIP switch closer to JTAG) are in the OFF position

Wgat is the switch power?? As I know in the board i have 3 push buttons and 8 dip switches and dip[1:4] is for boot mode.

Yes, Your understanding is correct.

When i test if the board is detected i don'i see bootme in the terminal :

I plug the mini usb into the board in J3 and the other usb into pc.

I make dip switches to run with mode uart 0101 

i unplug the power

I choose the serial usb in teraterm ans i set the baud rate. when i plug the power i don' see in the terminal BOOTME.

No thing is work in the dsp : I didn't succed to run it as TI said in the quick start demo. I can't doo boot fash. ansd the xds100v2 say that we have no power in the board. if unplag power pour i plug it i have the some message ( turn on the power)

What is your host machine (PC)?

windows or linux ubuntu ?

If windows, You need driver (FT232) to get detect console, and After installed the driver, Check which COM port has been detected through "Device Manager"

If linux, You will get "/dev/ttyUSB0" node and open minicom with "/dev/ttyUSB0"

I'm confused, How about "BOOTME" message while you setup UART boot mode?
