Can you try setting capture width as 1408 instead of 1400. I want to check if issue is related to non-multiple of 16 width in encoder.

If I set capture width as 1408, there has no error.

This is the capture restriction and not the encode, is it right?

And the restriction is associated with the capture outdata format 420sp, is it right?

I test if the dataformat is 422I, the capture width need not be nultiple of 16.

This is h264 encode restriction not capture restriction.

But if the capture chip is TVP5158, there no need to multip of 16. I set the capture as following,
