Display parameters for different resolutions

I have to set the following for different display resolutions.

HBP (Horizontal Back Porch)
HFP (Horizontal Front Porch)
HSW (Horizontal Sync Width)
VBP (Vertical Back Porch)
VFP (Vertical Front Porch)
VSW (Vertical Sync Width)

I'm using the CEA-861-E standard for referring the values. As it is not available online, please refer to an older version - CEA-861-D standard

I have the following doubts.

The frames per second I'll have to use is 60. So, in Page 13 Table 2 Video Format Timings—Detailed Timing Information, I have check the rows mentioned as 60 Hz. Am I right?
Only a few resolutions are mentioned under 60 Hz. Eg., 1920 x 1080. If I need to check the values for 1680 x 1050, 1440 x 900, etc. what should I do? (The HBP,HFP,etc. values are not mentioned in CEA-861-D standard document. But, are given in CEA-861-E standard document.)
Does the 480p, 1080p mentioned based on the VActive value?

Hi,

For which interface of the omap platform are you interested?

If you are referring to the HDMI output, in the device TRM are listed all verified resolutions and framerates. All other combinations may work but without guarantee. Is that your case you have stumbled upon?

CSI Interface. In TC358743, I'll have to program for various resolutions in the Ducati.

Hi,

As I said in my previous post you can used the suggested resolutions. The timing parameters you can set by their appropriate registers. More information for those registers is available in the device HDMI addendum ( which is under NDA).

If I need to set a resolution(which is not listed in the datasheet), then what kind of values should I set? How to find those values?

Well it is depending on the driver of the device that is receiving the csi signals.

Hi,

I need to be aware of your setup. Are you interested for configuration for device sending data through hdmi or the one receiving it thorough the camera interface?
