Problem with tlv320aic3106 in DM814

Hi,

I am using a DM8148 custom board. It is having tlv320aic3106 audio decoder. I am able to record wav file using "arecord" in the custom board. When I a getting those file in my system it is playing fine.

But when I use "aplay" to play those wav file from my DM8148 custom board, my board is getting reset. And it happens every time, I try to play wav file from my board using "aplay".

Have you tried to play another wav file which is not created with arecord?

Could you provide a log file of the crash also?

HI,

I tried to play another wav file which is not created with arecord but still it is not able to play and it is resetting the processor.

I am not getting any crash report since it is resetting the processor as soon I use aplay. And it is getting to the u-boot prompt.

Hello,

Without a log file of the crash I will be not able to do much since you are using custom board.

My guess since now the playback path is broken somehow.

Please check how tlv320aic3106 audio decoder is set in the code.
