UBIS File System Error While Loading File System

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DM3730

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me in this regards. To give you background of the issue I am facing.

I am using VAR-SOM-OM37 with DM3730.

I have compiled the x-loader and flashed on NAND which works fine v1.51

I have compiled the u-boot and flashed on NAND which also works fine (U-Boot 2010.06)

I have compiled the kernel and flashed on NAND which also boots Linux-2.6.37+

The problem I am facing is that I create a UBI file system and flash on NAND which the kernel recognizes and tries to mount but fails with errors and I am not sure what the issue is here. I get errors relating to

init: critical process 'servicemanager' exited 4 times in 4 minutes; rebooting into recovery mode

BCH decoding failed & init: untracked pid and then a reboot occurs with message

Restarting system with command 'recovery'. and finally stopping with error kernel panic.

The NAND flash is of size 512MB. I have tried creating UBIFS of different types and sizes both single and dual partition and of various sizes but keep getting erros.

I would be grateful if anyone could help me resolve this issue.

I want to load the file system on NAND and not use an SD card at all. I have attached the files which contains logs of boot and Environmental variables.

Regards

Ali
