CSI-2 Camera interface

Plz. comment on whether OMAP5 EVM supports 4-lane and 2-lane dual LVDS camera interface.

Also hOW can I get the full technical datasheet of the processor .

    Hi Abhishek,

    OMAP5 EVM has only MIPI CSI connectors. The two camera expansion connectors are:

    J2 - 30-pin Single CSI Camera Expansion Connector

    J18 - 60-pin Dual-CSI/Parallel Camera Expansion Connector

    If you want to connect LVDS sensor to either of the above listed interfaces, you will need LVDS to CSI converter (either it should be integrated in sensor SOC, or separate device as bridge between the CSI interface & the sensor). See the following e2e threads for pointers:
