DM365 Image sensor interface pins IO levels

Hello All,

I am currently using DM365EVM to interface with our sensor and currently we are doing schematics for the sensor board.

As per the dm365 datasheet, the image sensor interface data pins, sync signals have supply voltage of Vdd_isif18_33 (switchable 1.8V/3.3V).

I would like to know where the selection is made between 1.8V and 3.3V.

Is there any jumper/register setting on the EVM or it is upto to the user to connect suitable voltage (1.8V/3.3V) as per his requirement?

Please clarify.

  • Hi Arun;

    I had the same questions, and when looking at the schematics the isif signals ware powered on a 3.3V bank. And there is no switch on the EVM. But it can be selectable when you will design your own board.

    So if your sensor is 1.8V for its video signals you need to put level shifters between it and davinci/evm.

    cheers

  • Hello Reda38,

    The local TI guys said it depends on the supply connected to Vdd(1.8V/3.3V)

    Our sensor is of 2.5V and we are putting up level shifters to translate it to 3.3V.

    Thank you for your inputs.
