mailbox interrupt on dsp side

Hi,

I used the rdk4.0 on dm816x.

I have a question about the mailbox interrupt on dsp side.

I send message from arm to dsp used the mailbox 10 at the starting of arm, it can't trigger the interrupt of DSP.

I want to know when the mailbox interrupt be registered on dsp side.

Syslink/IPC already provides a notify mechanism to trigger interrupts via mailbox . WHy are you using a different mailbox to trigger interrupts from ARM to DSP. YOu can refer ti_tools\ipc\ipc_1_xx_xx_xx\packages\ti\sdo\ipc\family\ti81xx\InterruptDsp.c for reference code on enabling mailbox interrupt on c674.

Yes, I enable the mailbox 10 interrupt on dsp side by modify the file ti_tools\ipc\ipc_1_xx_xx_xx\packages\ti\sdo\ipc\family\ti81xx\InterruptDsp.c, and it can trigger the interrupt when I send message from arm to dsp, however, when I send message to dsp at the starting of arm, it can't trigger.

What does start of ARM mean ? Are you trying to send mailbox interrupt when A8 boots up ?
