Hi,

I have a 6638 EVM. I've checked GbE SW phy alive status and link status registers. For port 2 they're fine. For port 1 phy is not alive however i can send and receive frames via port 1. Is behaviour  of port 1 normal?

    If you are using XTCIEVMK2X, please find the below information, and also clearly mention the name of device and board using by you.
    XTCIEVMK2X:
    Here, the Ethernet PHY (PHY1 and PHY2) is connected to SoC EMAC0 & 1 to provide a copper interface and routed to a Gigabit RJ-45 connector (LAN1). If you have the board revison is 1.0/1.1, see the known issue document(EVMK2HX_Rev1_1_Known_Issues) available at advantech page.
