DM8168 both the ethernet not working at the same time.

Hello  all,

     We are using the DM8168 with the custom board. And we are using the default configuration of ethernet. By default eth0 will be up. When I'm going to use eth1 by making the interface up.And getting the ip by running udhcpc commnad for eth1.  My observation is that if I remove the cable from eth1  and if I pinged to the eth1 IP from outside  it is pinging. and If I remove the eth0 cable then pinging for both eth0 and eth1 will stop.
And one more thing both individually it is working ,means If I want to use eth1 then eth0 i will down at that time it is pinging to eth1 without any fault. and vice versa.
