   I've OMAP L138 LCDK kit i have audio file in file system i need to play the audio so tried aplay but its not playing the audio i got the following error

    Is this your custom board or TI LCDK board ?
    How about kernel image ie pre-built ?
    The topic name of post you mentioned is "AM1808 audio playing application"

    i tried to play a audio via codec and headphone jack.

    I'm also facing the same problem on Linux LCDK's SDK (kernel image) and I'm not getting any issues in MCSDK release SDK.

    I will try to figure out that where is the problem.

    Mean while please check in MCSDK.

    Got the sources.

    copied the u-boot into SD card from mcsdk_1_01_00_02/images/u-boot-omapl138-lcdk.bin

    by following command

    Whats wrong in this what is the procedure to boot the board?

    You don't want to change the u-boot but just change the kernel (3.3) alone.

    You can follow the same procedure which you have done LCDK's SDK.

    Procedure is the same for MCSDK and LCDK's SDK.

    We don't have separate procedure for MCSDK & LCDK's SDK releases.

    How did you perform to boot the board with old u-boot or LCDK's SDK ?

    You can use everything as it is from LCDK's SDK except kernel.

    You may have bootable SD card for LCDK's SDK and replace kernel image only.

  • I flashed the LCDK image into SD card long back(6 months). 

    Now i formatted the SD card for new kernel, i forgot the procedure to flash the SD card so followed that link. 

    I took the mcsdk/images/uboot and signed by AIS tool then used the uflash tool to flash the uboot image into sd card but its not booting. 

    Can you share the AIS signed and working uboot and uImage (Linux 3.3) for LCDK to flash the SD card ?

    And please tell the procedure to to flash those image into SD card.

    For this SD creation, I have posted multiple replies in e2e forums, you can search in our forums and try to boot as like initial.

    After that try to change the kernel (3.3) alone.
