adb with Jacinto 6 board

Hi,

I have flashed Android KitKat 4.4.2 onto Jacinto 6 board. It is working fine on target. I wish to use adb to connect to target. On my host, I have Ubuntu 12.04. On connect of target to host, it is not getting detected. "adb devices" is not listing any devices. Are there specific drives missing ?, if so where to get it from ?

Hi Mounesh,

On which USB have you connected the board , I suggest you to use the micro-usb3 and also check the device rules added in /etc/udev/rules.d/99_android.rules ( which are done and checked by the fastboot.sh script if you use it in order to upload the images to the target device as described in 6AK.1.1 Release Notes)

Hi Boyko,

Yes, I have connected target through micro-usb3.

My /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules, has following details:

SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTR{idVendor}=="04e8", ATTR{idProduct}=="6860", MODE="0666", GROUP="plugdev"

Is there anything missing ?

Hi Mounesh,

Please use the fastboot.sh script in the post above and stick to the release note instructions ( you will see what idVendor shoud really be: {idVendor}=="0451" , "04e8" is for Samsung);

If your problem still persists check with lsusb if your device has enumerated (with the corresponding hid/pid).
