SetTimer() which uses callback function in SYS/BIOS

Hi,

We would like to know if there is any API in SYS/BIOS which is
similar to Linux's setitimer() or Win32API's SetTimer()
which uses a callback function to notify that the timer has expired.

In our application we need to implement a function/process which would call a
callback function after a certain period of time.

The Device used is AM3352.

I have been using the SYS/BIOS Clock module for this. You provide the callback function with the Clock_create() call. It can be a one shot or periodic timer. It runs off the SYS/BIOS timer, so has a granularity of the tick time. On my AM335x, that is 1ms. Where I need finer timing, I have to use a hardware timer and a HWI.
