Difference between DM8168 Rev B and Rev C

Hi Margarita,

Thanks for the help.  The Wiki link you provided goes to a general landing page with hundreds of links.  It's not clear where the information is.  I did not see it anywhere.

The other link for an E2E thread that you provided is in reference to a EVM board question, not a silicon question.  I don't believe it applies to my question. 

Specifically, what is the difference between TI part number:

TMS320DM8168BCYGA2

and

TMS320DM8168CCYGA2

?

Can you find out what changed between these two?

Packaging info is clearly documented in device datasheet and silicon errata. B is silicon revision 2.0 and C is silicon revision 2.1.Refer silicon errata (http://www.ti.com/general/docs/lit/getliterature.tsp?baseLiteratureNumber=SPRZ329&fileType=pdf) for issues fixed between the silicon revision.

Hi Dan-

Were you able to get the information regarding the changes from Rev2.0 to Rev2.1?  I have a client who has been using Rev C silicon, but has 100 pcs of Rev B that he would like to use up on his next build.  Like you,  I cannot find any information that details the specific changes from 2.0 to 2.1.

The Errata that Rogerio pointed to is correct.  But one key piece of info is that B is silicon revision 2.0 and C is silicon revision 2.1.
