RTA tools not working ccs5.5 dsp28335 bios 5.42

Hello,

I am working on a bios 5.42 program that is up a running completely I inteded to use the RTA or RTOS tool to see the CPU load of the processor that is currently being used by the program however all of the tools (both RTOS and legacy RTA) are greyed out and nothing appears in the RTA control panel. I believe i have it enabled and can not understand why the tools are greyed out. I started with the bigtime example as a base and have built my code in that shell. Any help getting access to these tool would be greatly appreciated.

    I see the same issue if I create a new project for the bigtime example in CCS 5.5. However, other examples such as swi, clk, stairstep etc. show the RTA Legacy and sub-menus fine. I tried taking a quick look at the tcf file bigtime but couldn't quickly identify the reason why it wouldn't work for it.

    I will move this thread to the TI-RTOS forum for the BIOS experts there to comment further.

    Are you running this on a hardware platform or a simulator? If you're running on hardware, what platform?
