Hi Ravi,
No, Thin client RDK is not freely available to download, but should be requested through your local TI FAE / representative.
Regards,
Pavel
Thanks Pavel.
I have managed to get Thin client RDK version 0.4. I am trying to run the pre built image on DM814x EVM (Base EVM Rev. D, Expansion I/O Board Rev. D and LCD Adapter Board Rev. C ) by creating a bootable SD card.
The boot up process stops after some time at:
"Waiting for root device /dev/mmcblk0p2... "
Complete log is as below:

Can you please help me on this?
Searching on this forum i found people have faced this situation on custom boards(http://e2e.ti.com/support/arm/sitara_arm/f/791/t/263734.aspx). Is there a similar issue on EVM too?
Thanks alot
Ravi
Ravi,
Ravikant said:I am trying to run the pre built image on DM814x EVM (Base EVM Rev. D, Expansion I/O Board Rev. D and LCD Adapter Board Rev. C ) by creating a bootable SD card.
How you create your SD card? I suspect the issue might be in the SD card, see the e2e thread below:
http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/davinci_digital_media_processors/f/100/t/224609.aspx
In EZSDK we have special script for creating bootable SD card and fill it with pre-built bootloaders, linux kernel and filesystem:
host $ sudo ${EZSDK}/bin/mksdboot.sh --device /dev/sdb --sdk ${EZSDK}
Ravikant said:Is there a similar issue on EVM too?
As this is EVM, this should not be HW design issue. Please have a look in the below e2e thread also, might be in help:
http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/davinci_digital_media_processors/f/716/t/353948.aspx
Best regards,
Pavel
Hi Pavel,
Yes i did use the mksdboot.sh for preparing SD card. The issue was with the SD crd i used.. i have repeated the entire process with another SD card (suggested by some forum discussion) and it is working now.
Thanks for your help.
