How to assign different IP address to AM335X 2 cpsw ethernet ports?

Dear,

There is a AM3359 chip on my custom board, and both of am3359 cpsw ethernet ports are used,the OS is sysbios,and the network protocal stack is NDK, I try to assign 2 different IP addresses to the 2 ports in the app.cfg,but I cann't find any way to do this,can anybody tell me how to do it?I'll appreciate your answers!

The software we're using as follow:

CCS 5.5.0.00077, SYS/BOIS 6.35.4.50,NDK 2.22.3.20, compiler version TI 5.1.1,xdctools_3_25_03_72. and am335x_sysbios_ind_sdk_1.1.0.4.

Rolan,

Industrial SDK drivers do not support dual mac, it can only be configured as a switch.

Vinesh,

I think AM335X BOARD ICE_V2 supports dual mac. Anyway, can we assign static IP addresses to 2 ethernet ports through the app.cfg as the following picture:

Hello,

It's not a board dependency, the Industrial SDK drivers do not support dual mac functionality.

Vinesh,

We think we can modify the drivers, so,assuming the drivers support dual mac functionality,how can we assign different IP addresses to the 2 ports?

Rolan,

Ok. I will redirect this post to the NDK team. Last time I checked, I could only assign one IP address via cfg, the other had to be configured by code.

Hi Rolan,

As Vinesh mentioned, you have to use a combination of the configuration file (*.cfg) and C code to do this.
