Hello,

We have one AM1808 and two OMAP-L138 on the same board and all are running at 456 MHz.

We are using the same boot loader for all of them for more than a years of development and have not seen any problem.

We're about to release a new product using this board and I like to make sure every is NOT out of tech specs

I just to check with TI tech guys that that approach is OK within the technical usage of these MCU's

Hello,

I think, you can use the same boot loader for both OMAPL138 and AM1808.

For AM1808 devices, the DSP is replaced by a proprietary boot controller which is only used for booting the ARM core.

Yes, You can use the same bootloader for AM1808 and OMAPL138, also it depends on hardware changes,

As you said, It is working good, then I don't think that it wont be a problem.

In our SDK also, we have the same configuration name "da850_evm.h" for OMAPL138 and AM1808,

We're about to release a new product using this board and I like to make sure every is NOT out of tech specs

Please make your that you are using latest released SDK.
