We are designing a custom board based on the AM3359 for an industrial application. We will use the PRUSS-based EtherCAT solution. So two 100Mbs PHYs are connected to PRU0 and PRU1. As an additional monitoring interface we want to connect a Gigabit-Ethernet PHY to the GEMAC_CPSW via RGMII1. The pin multiplexing seems to be OK. Are there any other restrictions that could pevent us from using the RGMII in parallel with the EtherCAT ports? Are there any reference implementations for such a configuration (e.g. EVMs)?
