I am new to TI DSP's and I was hoping I could find some help. I am trying to repair a board our company uses driven by a DM6446. When I connect the serial cable it spits out "BOOT ME" nonstop.
I tried using the sfh_dm644x.exe file (the 1.5 and 1.77 version) to flash it without success. It gets to the point where it says UBL was accepted. "Waiting for SFT..." then it starts spitting out BOOT ME on each line and continues forever.
We also have CCS 3.3 and an xds510PP+ w/adapting clocking module but I have no idea how to use this. I tried to connect to the board and it throws several errors like "unable to stop clock". All our original engineers were laid off, so, I'm on my own.
Am I overlooking something obvious?
I can't give a lot of details on our board but I do see the following in our datasheet:
I have 2 jumpers, depending on which ones are set it changes the boot configuration from: "Boot Rom (NAND)", "Boot EMIF (Nor)" (the board has none), "Reserved", Boot UART". Right now I have it set on Boot Rom (NAND).
The NAND I need to program is physically connected on pins EM_D0 through EM_D7.
Thank you.
