DM8168 Video Input Problem.

Hello.

I'm working on our new custom board with DM8168.
Problem is vidio input.
Our board is have another chip instead of TVP7002.
I'm set input mode to DISCRETE SYNC mode because this chip is not suport EMBADED SYNC mode.
Captured data is have blank data between sync to real video data.

I use ti-ezsdk_dm816x-evm_5_05_02_00.

How I can get only real video data?

Hello,

What you are using gstreamer or saLoopBack for capture?

What you are using ES2.1 or ES1.1 silicon?

2. On ES1.1 silicon we have an errata for discrete sync which is as follows. So please make sure you have taken care of it.

"The VIP parser requires that the ACTVID signal is active for all lines of the incoming data, including the vertical blanking region."

What is the resolution that you are trying to capture?

You can refer to following document on how to configure V4L2 capture driver for discrete sync reception.

I'm use gstreamer.
8168 revision B, utoot output TI8168-GP rev 2.0.
Capture resolution is 1920x1080 p30.
I'm change parameter of hdvpss_capture_sdev_info but no effect. (clipActive,clipBlank,fidSkewPostCnt,fidSkewPreCnt,fidDetectMode)

I'm worked with dm368.
Dm368 is can modify capture positon by register change.
But can't find capture register at dm8168.

Hello,

Before to use gstreamer could you verify with saLoopBack demo that everything is working correct?

Could you share your pipeline ?

Well if your saLoopBack demo works fine then your issue is with your gstreamer configuration.

My problem is green part of video.
I think that green part is zero data of blank signal.
Real video data is move right and down in picture.
I had same problem with dm368.
I want capture Horizontal start positon move to right and Vertical start posion move to down.
