Hi, I made a chain 4ch 1080p30 Capture -> SwMS -> Display(HDMI/DVO2)

The displayed image of 1080i60 is too different with the image of 1080p output.

I think this difference comes from peaking filter.

But, i can't find how to disable peaking filter in interlaced display mode.

Is there any info about peaking filter of interlaced display?

What difference are you seeing? Is it quality issue or frame size issue?

Just search for enablePeaking filter in swms file, set it to false.

Hi.

This is a quality issue.

I already set enablePeaking to FALSE.

I'm using DVRRDK 3.5 and if I set display to progressive.

Obviously peaking is disabled.

But only interlaced display shows peaking strongly.

And color is different too.

I also check the output of swMs.

Capture -> swMs ----> display --> Shows peaking.

|-> encode -> do not shows peaking.

So. I think this issue results from display..

In the case where you are seeing artifacts can you confirm

1. Capture is 1080I60

2.Display is 1080P60

3.SWMS output FPS is 30

WHat is the SWMS scaler ID you are using ?

Which display are you using? On display path, there is no peaking filter on BP path.

There is scalar on YUV420 display path, but typically this scalar is not enabled, so there should not be any peaking filterring done on display path. Can you dump the images before submitting to display and check the it?

Hi js park,
I have a problem with 1080I60 Display. My device display by GS2972. But the active words per line and active line per field is not right.
I have check the HD_Venc_D register with Bt.1120, but any problem had been found. So Could you give me the HD_Venc_D register value for me ?
