AM335x uPP peripheral

Hi,

My customer use AM1808 because the device have uPP peripheral. But currently, there are not AM335x or AM437x which have uPP in TI's roadmap. Customer would like to know if there is method to use GPMC of AM335x/AM437x instead of uPP.
Do you have information or documents to use GPMC instead of uPP?

Hi Nagata-san,

I don't think the GPMC can emulate uPP. GPMC is a dedicated interface to memory type peripherals, with the processor acting as host, it cannot be driven by external devices. Perhaps a software uPP can be implemented on the PRU_ICSS but I haven't heard of anything readily available.
