EMIF configuration tips for AM437x

Hi,

I'm expecting custom boards based on AM437x EVM boards soon and I would like to configure the EMIF settings on them when they arrive. I went through the following wikis for AM335x.

How relevant are they for AM437x? Are there going to be training sections specifically for AM437x?

Update from the factory team: EMIF configuration tips for the AM437X are currently being prepared. I can't give an exact date when they will be available.

Hi Biser,

I've gone through the DDR3 configuration wikis for AM335x and I feel confident about the process. Can I use AM335x .gel file and spreadsheet tools for AM437x? If not, can we get these tools(if they are ready) without having to wait for the wikis? Sorry for being impatient, but we are expecting our boards soon and will be blocked on this.

Hi Manan,

The AM437X DDR interface is not identical to the AM335X. As for tools/wiki pages timeline, please contact your nearest TI representative for additional information.
