How can i set the DSP registers?

Hi

I have a custom board with 6678 and I want to send a data from DSP to FPGA with GPIO pins but i don't know how i must set the GPIO registers. I read  GPIO User Guide (SPRUGH7) and i know that i must set registers like "DIR", "SET_DATA" or "CLR_DATA" but i don't know what libraries are important and what instruction must be used?!
