The DM648 Bootloader App Note suggests that the EMAC boot mode copies the MAC address from the EFUSE into the MACADDR registers; however, what happens if a different boot mode was selected? Does only the EMAC boot mode actually copy the MAC address, or is this done automatically as the device comes out of reset (values "latched")?
