AM3874xCYE80 vs AM3874xCYE100.

I noticed that TI will stop producing AM3874xCYE100 and only produce AM3874xCYE80.

We are using AM3874xCYE100 in our design and wondering what consideration we should take into account if we want to use AM3874xCYE80 in our design. Do we need to redesign our boards or it is a software fix that would set the processor to a slower frequency?

Any help or information is very appreciated. Our design is based on Mistral evaluation board.
