Hello,
I have an issue that I got resets when I run my units in -30 degree. It happens about once every hour for some units, not very often but it happens. A couple of my units works just find.
In normal temperature (20 degree) and high temperature (70 degree) it works just fine. I have located the error to SDRAM settings. If I run with 266Mhz it works, but when I increase to 400Mhz I got the resets.
I have an AM3354 with two Micron MT47H128M8CF-25EIT:H, a 1Gb DDR2 SDRAM.
I have used the http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335x_EMIF_Configuration_tips link to set up my settings for DDR2. I have used the “Ratio Seed Spreadsheet” and “AM335x DDR Calculation tool” to calculate my settings.
How important is to add correct trace length in the “Ratio Seed Spreadsheet”? I can see by just looking to my HW that it is about 3cm (1.17) inch. Is this good enough? I have used 1,17 inch in the “Ratio Seed Spreadsheet”.
Any suggestions what I should look into to get the SDRAM to work at 400MHz?
Regards
Magnus
