Hi,

I do not know isthere right place for asking this question but if anyone can help me I really appreciate about that.I have a custum board.It will be communicate any device over usart.So I need a protocol.I do not want a custom protocol.I wonder is there any free protocol that I can implement my design.

It is a custum device.I design it and I used msp430f6779 MCU on it.It can be communicate via rs485 or rs232.And it has a external flash.It can do firmware update.My card aims read electricity meters and send datas via gprs to remote server.

Unfortunately, there is no UART driver support for msp430f6779 in TI-RTOS. But TI-RTOS does provide UART driver support and examples for MSP430F5529 launchpad. You can port it to your board. See TI-RTOS wiki for the porting guide and more info.
