Migrating CCS v3 to CCS v6 5509A DSK

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320VC5509A, SYSBIOS

I  am just received my TMS320VC5509A DSK from Spectrum, and discovered that the supplied CCS would not work on my Windows 7 machine.  I downloaded the most current CCS v6 and imported a project via the Import Legacy CCv3.3 Projects ->selected the current/only compiler 4.4.1->next->finish

Message box:  indicates that I should check the project log:

the project is the led project from Spectrum

Project Log:  This project has DSP/BIOS content, but no DSP/BIOS tools are currently installed, please install DSP/BIOS tools and re-migrate this project.

I was not sure how to do this, I included the bios include directory from the old CCS 3 in the compiler and linker settings  rebuilt the supporting dsk library and pointed the csl lib at C5509ax.lib.  everything appears to compile and link but noting appears to happen....

Any suggestions!  I am surprised I got this far... called Spectrum they suggested I return to an XP environment and use CCS 3 but that is not an option at this time.

Thanks in advance!
