LCD panel sharp_lq043t3dx04 bring up issue (TI8148 based board, PSP linux-04.01.00.07 )

HI,

I am using TI8148 based board and psp version linux-04.01.00.07 with LCD panel sharp_lq043t3dx04 and driver I am using is linux/drivers/video/omap2/displays/panel-sharp-lq043t1dg01. I have populated the board specific file with the platform data. When I am boot the kernel it is showing error as

omapdss core error cant get clk ick.

probe of omapdss failed with error -2

PM: adding info for no bus: omapdss

I think I am missing some thing, please help to bring up the LCD display

is older version I would recommend you to move to latest one.

Hi Margarita,

We dint face any issue using this PSP for other display related issues. In the present project we are using a different LCD panel (sharp_lq043t3dx04) which is new to us. Would you please let me know if any link are present to guide in adding a new LCD panel in Linux.
