Video streaming demo with TMDXEVM437X

Hi,

I have one question.

I would like to demonstate video streaming with 437x evm.

As you know, the EVM has cameras. I would like to capture the video data from camera, and send its data through

the ethernet port to PC. And its data is playback on PC. Is it possible to do this demonstration with TMDXEVM437x?

Hi Michi,

This should be possible from the HW point of view, but I'm not sure that there is a demo application that demonstrates this in the SDK. Perhaps an application will need to be created for this purpose.

Also try to run ffmpeg function .. may be you need to download this toolset for perticular OS.

If you use the Linux SDK for AM437x, you can also use GStreamer to do this, which is included in the default fileystem. There are numerous examples floating around the web, such as this one. Note that you should use "fbdevsink" when you receive the stream and display it to the Display Sub System.
