uart problem

Dear all,

Our company build a custom board with AM335x process, we want to use UART1 to get the data of keyboard value from a STM32 process. Now we use linux as OS and want to program the keyboard driver, but the problem is how to get the data from UART1 in the kernel? is that posible? any suggestion?

Hi,

Please explain your desired application a bit more.

The UART interfaces are exposed to the kernel as /dev/ttyO0, /dev/ttyO1, etc.

I know how to get the data form /dev/ttyO1 in user application, but i want to get data from UART1 in kernel(driver) layer, in this way i can get keyboard's value to program the driver for keyboard just like SPI
