OMAP-L138 OLED Interface

This depends very much on the specific display you are interested in, so is not really possible to answer for "any generic OLED".

Small displays will typically implement a CPU like interface to the controller and as such could be connected to either GPIO or to the GPMC interface.

larger displays will use a more raster based interface and, depending on the controller, be connected to the same port as an LCD would be (display sub-system).

If you have some specific displays in mind I could look through their datasheets with you to help answer this better.

It is very much dependent on the application requirements to be honest.

I have not worked directly with any particular OLED vendors, so can't really comment.
