Questions about DM385

Hi, we would like to use DM385 for our video capture device which can support h.264 encoding which can reach 60fps at 1920x1080. I would like to ask the following question:

1) There is a HDMI TX in DM385. Can I bypass video input signal to that HDMI TX output directly? Since our product has one HDMI input and a HDMI bypass output (Signal from HDMI input).

2)  There are three speed grade - (720-MHz ARM, 290-MHz HDVICP2), (970-MHz ARM, 410-MHz HDVICP2) &  (1000-MHz ARM, 450-MHz HDVICP2). Which one I should use if I need 60fps h.264 encoding at 1920x1080.

Thank you!

Steve

  • 1. It is possible.   We have capture+Display demo which has already support this feature (though the capture is from CAM sensor)

    2. H264 encoding has varies settings.   410/450MHz device is possible.    I will suggest you use high frequency device first then change speed grade when in production.
