Linking external .a library on OMAP4 Ducati M3 with Syslink

I'm using OMAP4 Ducati M3 with Syslink. I have a bld file with the following content:

var testBld = xdc.loadCapsule("ti/sdo/ipc/build/test.bld");
var commonBld = xdc.loadCapsule("ti/sdo/ipc/build/common.bld");

Pkg.attrs.exportAll = true;

var testArray = [

    {name: 'ducati-m3-core0', sources: ["sources"], config: "pid_ipu", copts: "--gcc", buildPlatforms: ["ti.platform.omap4430.ipu"], lopts: "--reread_libs --library=/path/liblib.a"},
];

arguments = ["profile=debug platform=all"];

testBld.buildTests(testArray, arguments);

The test.bld file referenced above is available here:

https://gitorious.org/syslink/bios-syslink/source/9587354082426e4ba1164adefe4cb095cad3e1a8:packages/ti/sdo/ipc/build/test.bld

I have two problems:

-1. How can I include a headers folder? I had to duplicate all .h files which is painful. What's the equivalent of -Ipath (like in a Makefile) in my bld file?

-2. When I integrate an external M3 .a library, which is proprietary and I don't have the source code, I get the linkage error:

fatal error: relocation type "R_ARM_ABS32" in file
   "path/liblib.a<quaternion_supervisor.o>" at
   offset 0x00000008 in section ".debug_macro" with id (66) references symbol
   "" in discarded section with id (68); references to this symbol from this
   location are not allowed

I don't think that my library is corrupted. I have also tried the option aopts but it doesn't change anything. What am I doing wrong?
