Video Input: 24 bit RGB Hsync Vsync / no DE: OMX set sync polarity & max line length

Expert 1935 points

Hello,

I've attached a HDMI receiver to the DM8168, using the 24bit VIP0A, Hsync, Vsync and the clock.

My input is 1080p60 or 720p60, my input signals seem ok and are described here: http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/davinci_digital_media_processors/f/717/p/362772/1286420.aspx

My horizontal line including blanking is longer than 11 bits (it's 2200px), so the VIP reports 0x98 (wraps). Will this cause issues?

Which OMX API call can I use to put the VIP in clipping mode, i.e. count only the active video pixels/lines? Will this reflect in the VIP size register?

How can I set the polarity of Hsync/Vsync in OMX?

Regards,

Lo
