Sudden kernel panic on booting up

Hi Experts,

There was sudden kernel panic error as "Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs" on booting the Linux SD card provided with the Am335x EVM board. Previously it booted up successfully. It occurs on loading android as well.

Hi,

Please share the whole boot log file. Try to reformat the SD card or try with another SD card.

Hi Miroslav,

It seems like I enabled the physical write protection switch in the SD card. This prohibits the write access into the SD card. Now I disabled and it booots up fine.
