Connecting image sensor to dm8168

BT656 is supported .

Hi,

If I use the related pins (vIN[0]A_D[7:0], vIN[0]A_CLK) of the processor for YUV422 8-bit embedded sync mode(BT.656). Can the processor capture the data from sensor with these pins?

Yes.   VIN[0] has A/B ports.   every 8-bit can be used for BT656 inputs as they have seperate CLK

I do not need HSYNC and VSYNC signals of sensor because of using "YUV422 8-bit embedded sync mode(BT.656)" mode. An other word, I will only use vIN[0]A_D[7:0] and vIN[0]A_CLK.

Is this ok?

Actually the reference design already has such example.

The 4 TVP5158 are connectted to 1 DM816x in that way.
