DM814x Memory Map

Hi folks,

We are using a DM8127 based system with 1Gig of RAM.  We need to free up some more space for the VPSS_M3_CODE area (it is currently set to 1Mb).

From looking at the memory configuration that we currently have and the EZSDK Memory map for a 1Gig system at http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/EZSDK_Memory_Map there is an unused memory hole at 0x9f900000.

The web-page states that this memory cannot be used by Linux.

However, is it OK to use it as the VPSS_M3_CODE area?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Terry
