Hi,

I would like to know general possibility for DMA issue.

My customer is trying DMA transfer from NAND flash to DDR memory.

Now they have issue. DMA transfer is completed. But only data of even address is transferred. Odd address's data is not transferred. Do you think what cuase is this problem?

    Hi Michi.

    It's hard to determine what causes the problem from the description you have given. Please provide more details, e.g. what is the NAND bus width, how big is the transferred data chunk, what do you mean by "only data of even address is transferred. Odd address's data is not transferred"?

    Thank you for your support.

    On current customer's connection between NAND to GPMC, address bit "0" is Low. So NAND access is only 16bit.

    But customer says NAND access looks like 8 bit access even though 16bit access mode hardware setting.

    For 16bit DMA transfer setting, what register setting should I check? Please advise me.

    AM3517 has no hardware setting for NAND bus width.
