I am working on evm 6670. I have a query regarding the FFTc output scaling value. According to fftc user guide, its value could be between 0-1 in Q1.7 unsigned format. But when i configure fftc output scaling factor to 160 i.e. 1.25 in Q1.7 format, what should be the expected behaviour of FFTc? I have checked that FFTc is correctly scaling the output signal.
One issue which i can think is that sometimes fftc output may get saturate due to this output scaling but in case i am sure that fftc output would not saturate then can i use this scaling factor at output or not? Or this value is not permitted at all?
Kindly somebody give me suggestions about this factor.
