Using PRU on AM335x to drive a stepper motor

We have a project to drive a stepper motor for PTZ camera application using a BeagleBone Black.  Is there a good cape to support a project like this?  Is there a good place to start for programming the PRU to drive a stepper motor?  Any direction would be appreciated.
