After roaming through your websites and datasheets I am still not sure of what DSP to choose for my application.
I am looking to perform 25MPixel JPEG still image encoding/decoding. I have first looked at your high-end DSPs since they seem to be the ones who can support such high resolutions (TMS320C6678 for example can support arbitrary JPEG resolutions, and can even perform 6600x4400 JPEG2k).
But I just realised that this solution may not be the easiest considering I will be getting the image from CMOS (camera). I have seen a TI employee suggest checking out the DM64x family for such applications but I can't find the information about how high the input image resolution can be!
I have also seen that I could eventually implement an interface for these CMOS to the TMS320C6678 but I'm guessing it's going to be a long integration time compared to a simple DM64x solution.
I'm sorry for my inexperience in such matters, I am just discovering DSPs ;-)
