There was an error launching the application

I have installed CCS 6.0 on Linux Mint 17, there were NO errors during the installation yet when I go to launch CCS I get the a window that says "There was an error launching the application".

Any help would be VERY much appreciated.

Try to re-install the CCS on your host PC.

At what user (root) have you used when you install the CCS on Linux ?

Hello,

I have tried installing as root and non root. I have tried reinstalling 2 or 3 times now always with the same result. I guess I need to do this a few more times and hopefully one of them works...

Hi Kas,

Try to run the CCS through command line from your CCS installed directory.

<CCS installation directory> /ccsv5/eclipse/ccstudio

Ex:

/opt/ti/ccsv5/eclipse/ccstudio &
