  • Hi,

Official support for suspend/resume for OMAP3 WINCE BSP on Mistral EVM is from BSP 6.13 onwards. But EHCI suspend/resume is still an open issue and is being debugged. Basically after suspend the EHCI port fails to wake up. This is not deemed to be a chip issue. Also please know that Beagle board is not officially supported for WinCE but if the issue can be reproduced on the Mistral EVM it will be entered into the bug database for fix in a future release.

For faster response please post any WinCE related questions to WinCE forum under Embedded software instead of the OMAP forum. Also please use tags WINCE BSP <version> OMAP35xx for easier search. Thanks.

  • parsh,

Suspend Resume support is available as part of the Linux platform solution.  I do understand the this is not what you are looking for but wanted to mention the same if you are looking for other options.

  • USB EHCI suspend/resume looks like still a open issue on WinCE BSP 614.

Is there any plan on fixing this open issue? This affects the power management scheme if it is not fixed.

  • Rich,

Work is ongoing on EHCI suspend/resume. There was a fix for EHCI suspend/resume for BSP 6.14 but a last minute problem was found when both SD card and EHCI ports were in use and the fix had to be backed out.  bSquare has made progress on this.  We may put it out as an engineering patch once it is verified to be working. I do not have a firm date at this time unfortunately.

  • BSP 6.14.01 has fix for EHCI suspend/resume. Please also go through the Known issues in BSP 6.14.01 release to understand any caveats/limitations.
