USB reference manual for C5535

I came across a helpful USB manual; spru596a, that exposes the internals for the USB controller on the C5507/C5509.

I am interested in this document because I need to control NAK on the C5535 and this manual seems to provide enough detail to implement the controls needed.

Is the USB controller the same on the C5535? If not, does a similar document exist?

No. C5535 uses a different IP. Have you checked out the USB chapter in the C5535 Technical Reference Guide?

All that is available is a test register capable of producing NAK.

The spru596a document provides a level of detail far exceeding the USB chapter in the C5535's Technical reference Guide, highlighting how a host can control the NAK.

I'll ask again.

I need a way to produce a NAK. I find the documentation lacking any detail to allow me to perform this.

When does the SIE produce a NAK when the host sends an IN token?

If the IN token is correctly received, C5535 can reply with a DATA packet if the packet is ready, a STALL packet indicating there is an error, or NAK packet that C5535 is not ready to send data yet. So if SendStall bit and TXPKTRDY bit are not set, then NAK will be sent automtically by C5535.

When host sent IN packet, what packet did you see being reply to the IN packet?
