Hi Hendrik,
Are you using the original power adaptor that came with the EVM? LED D3 is at the input power path. You can check voltages and components before it. EVM schematics can be found here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335x_General_Purpose_EVM_Board_Design_Files
Hi Biser,
Yes, i#m using the original power adaptor.
I gave a look at the Schematic by this link:
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335x_General_Purpose_EVM_Board_Design_Files#Rev_1.1A_to_1.1D
I found the LED D3 but couldn't find the switch SW1. I'm a little confused to understand the Schematics correctly.
The Voltage of the Power Adaptor is 24V.
Hendrik
24V???!!!!
Which EVM are you talking about? The GP EVM uses 5V input voltage.
In all cases the wisest thing to do is contact the supplier from whom you bought the board and ask for the correct procedure to return the board for repair/replacement.
Uhm, sorry. Maybe my Information hadn't been detailed enough.
I'm talking about the TMDXICE3359 EVM.
Ahh, that's different. ICE board schematics can be found here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335x_Industrial_Communications_Engine_Board_Design_Files
And it's indeed powered from 24V.
